1. Take the N69 west from Limerick City and Mungret.
2. Continue west on the N69 until you reach the left turn at R521.
3. Shanagolden Village is 3km along the R521.
4. After you pass the service station at the edge of Shanagolden, take the left turn at The Old Stand Restaurant and Bar.
5. Drive along Main Street Shanagolden, passing the Post Office on your left.
6. Maple Valley Guest House is on the right just as the road begins to head downhill.

1. Follow the N22 North to Farranfore.
2. Turn right on the N23 heading past Kerry Airport.
3. Turn left at the roundabout following the N23 to the N21 for Limerick and Abbeyfeale.
4. In Abbeyfeale, take the R524 left for Athea.
5. Turn right in Athea following the R523 for Glin and Ardagh.
6. At the t-junction with the R521, turn left for Shanagolden for 4km.
7. Entering Shanagolden, turn right at the crossroads outside The Old Stand Restaurant and Bar.
8. Drive along Main Street Shanagolden, passing the Post Office on your left
9. Maple Valley Guest House is on your right just as the road begins to head downhill.

1. Take the N19 from Shannon Airport heading for Limerick.
2. Follow sign for the N18 to Limerick and Bunratty.
3. At junction 4 of the N18 carry straight on to cross the river via the Shannon Tunnel.
4. Leave the N18 junction 2 and follow signs for the N69, Listowel and Foynes.
5. Follow the N69 for 32km until you see the left turn onto the R521 to Newcastle West and Shanagolden.
6. Follow R521 for 3km to Shanagolden Village.
7. After you pass the service station at the edge of Shanagolden, take a left turn at The Old Stand Restaurant and Bar.
8. Drive along Main Street Shanagolden passing the Post Office on your left.
9. Maple Valley Guest House is on your right just as the road begins to head downhill.
